CentOS is an Enterprise-class Linux Distribution derived from sources freely provided to the public by Red Hat. Since March 2004, CentOS Linux has been a community-supported distribution derived from the sources of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL). CentOS conforms fully with Red Hat vendor’s redistribution policy and aims to be 100% binary compatible with RHEL.
